Lobbing along on the front end with his rivals content to allow him his own way, Knife Edge was cajoled as Noor Al Hawa loomed alongside towards the far rail in the straight and after seeing off that rival found the line just in time as last year's G3 Preis des Winterfavoriten runner-up Degas ate into his margin with every stride.
