A.P. Warrior Colt Brings $335,000 at Barretts

A bay colt from A.P. Warrior's first crop brought a bid of $335,000 toward the end of trading Monday afternoon at Barretts March. Narvick International signed the winning ticket for the Murray Smith's consignee.

Cataloged as hip 119, the Mar. 1-foaled colt is a half-brother to She's Our Annie (Medaglia d'Oro), a winner of five of six starts, including three black-type events. He was produced by the nine-year-old Roar mare Girl Gone Crazy, a half-sister to the good Grade I-placed juvenile Devil's Disciple (Devil His Due).

Smith's Divine Assetts acquired hip 119 for $85,000 as a Fasig-Tipton July yearling last fall. A.P. Warrior (A.P. Indy) was a two-time Grade II winner.
