An $800,000 KEESEP buy by Shadwell Stable, the bay is a half-brother to Horse of the Year and newly-minted Hall of Famer Rachel Alexandra (Medaglia d'Oro), who is also the dam of GISW Rachel's Valentina (Bernardini). Brian Lynch also saddles a promising and well-bred second timer in Silverton Hill's Meantime (Shackleford). A half-brother to MGISW Sweet Reason (Street Sense) and GSW & GISP Don't Forget Gil (Kafwain), the $230,000 KEESEP purchase was a game second behind a “TDN Rising Star” performance from the Todd Pletcher-trained Patch (Union Rags), who is running back in the GII Louisiana Derby Saturday.
