Dual Group 3 and Royal Ascot winner Arab Spring (Ire) (Monsun {Ger}) will be the first horse sold as part of the Ballymacoll Stud dispersal when he goes under the hammer at the Tattersalls July Sale on July 12 to 14. The 7-year-old entire has won the G3 John Porter S. and G3 September S. for trainer Sir Michael Stoute, on both occasions beating Group 1 winners, and he was beaten a short head in this year's Listed Winter Derby by subsequent dual Group 1 winner Decorated Knight (GB) (Galileo {Ire}).
Arab Spring is out of Spring Symphony (Ire) (Darshaan {GB}), whose six winners also include Group 1 winner Glass Harmonium (Ire) (Verglas {Ire}) and the dam of this year's G2 Middleton S. winner Blond Me (Ire) (Tamayuz {GB}). Spring Symphony is a half-sister to champion Conduit (Ire) (Dalakhani {Ire}).
