UAE-based trainer Majed Al Jahouri has been banned three years after pleading guilty to presenting three Purebred Arabians to race with cobalt overages in their systems in early December. The three horses–two of which won–were disqualified from their races at Meydan, Abu Dhabi and Al Ain. Al Jahouri–who, as described as in the stewards report, has a poor record in regards to prohibited substance rules–had already begun serving a previous prohibited substance ban on Jan. 11. His ban will now last until Jan. 11, 2020.
