Aushorse, the marketing body of the Australian Thoroughbred industry, has signed an extension of its sponsorship of the Golden Horseshoe series of races for juveniles in Singapore for 2017 and 2018.

In partnership with co-sponsors Inglis, Magic Millions and IRT, the series offers valuable bonuses to Australian-bred and -sold horses in a trio of lead-up races, culminating with the Golden Horseshoe S., a A$200,000 event held on the same weekend as the Emirates Singapore Derby in early July. Bonuses of $10,000 are available to the connections of winners in any of the three final legs of the series, while the Golden Horseshoe itself carries bonus money of $50,000.

Should no qualified horse win any of the, the bonus money rolls over into the Golden Horseshoe final. If no qualified horse wins the final, the pool is won by the qualified horse to have accumulated the most prizemoney through the series.

In an effort to further enhance the series, Australian-bred horses sold at breeze-up sales in Australia are now also eligible for bonuses. Upcoming sales include Ingls's Ready 2 Race Sale Oct. 4 and the Magic Millions Gold Coast 2-Year-Olds in Training Sale Oct. 11-12.
