Stakes-placed Always Awesome (Awesome Again–Anzille, by Plugged Nickle), in foal to hot sire Medaglia d'Oro (El Prado {Ire}), went for a cool $1 million at the Fasig-Tipton November Sale Tuesday. Consigned by Adena Springs, the nine-year-old mare was purchased by Charles Fipke. She is a half to G1SW Anzillero (Law Society), and her dam is a half to the incomparable Urban Sea (Miswaki). Always Awesome's first foal, Bear Always (Vindication), was twice a winner at Woodbine this season.
