Backtalk (Smarty Jones) and Make Music For Me (Bernstein) will have their chance in Saturday's GI Kentucky Derby after both Interactif (Broken Vow) and Endorsement (Distorted Humor) were Wednesday withdrawn from consideration for the 1 1/4-mile Classic. WinStar Farm's Endorsement, winner of the GIII Sunland Derby, has been sidelined by a right front condylar fracture. Backtalk, winner of last year's GII Sanford S. and GIII Bashford Manor S., is coming off a third-place effort in the GIII Illinois Derby. Make Music For Me, second in last year's GI Del Mar Futurity, is coming off a sixth-place finish in the GI Toyota Blue Grass S. Robby Albarado, who was to have ridden Endorsement, will now ride Dean's Kitten (Kitten's Joy). Joel Rosario moves from Dean's Kitten to Make Music For Me.
