Officials at Belmont Park announced the cancellation of the live racing program for a second consecutive day Friday as heavy rains from the remnants of a tropical depression continue to pelt the area. Saturday's card, featuring five Grade I events led by the Jockey Club Gold Cup, is expected to take place as scheduled. The facility was to remain open for full-card simulcasting from around the country.
