ZERO HOUR (c, 3, Bernardini–Misty Hour {SW & GSP, $157,844}, by Miswaki), a $650,000 2014 KEESEP yearling turned $1.4-million 2015 OBS March topper after breezing a quarter-mile at that sale in :21 1/5, did little running when ninth in his debut last August over the Saratoga turf behind future GSW's Isotherm (Lonhro {Aus}) and Life Imitates Art (More Than Ready). Off as the 7-4 favorite in this long-awaited return, the Live Oak colorbearer traveled fourth, about a half-dozen lengths off a contested :22.71 quarter-mile. Creeping up into striking distance past a :45.80 half, Zero Hour burst through a seam between rivals nearing the top of the lane and drew off in the stretch to a 6 1/4-length score while jumping back to his left lead in the final sixteenth. Stablemate Subliminal (Street Sense) got up late for the place. The winner is a half to India (Hennessy), MGSW, $630,859, dam of 'TDN Rising Star' Kareena (Medaglia d'Oro); and Pilfer (Deputy Minister), SW, $126,360, the productive dam of MGISW To Honor and Serve (Bernardini), GISW Angela Renee (Bernardini and SW/GISP Elnaawi (Street Sense). Misty Hour's most recent produce is a 2-year-old Hard Spun colt named Spun Out. Lifetime Record: 2-1-0-0, $25,792. Click for the Equibase.com chart or VIDEO, sponsored by Fasig-Tipton.
