Off as the 7-4 favorite in this long-awaited return, the Live Oak colorbearer traveled fourth, about a half-dozen lengths off a contested :22.71 quarter-mile. Creeping up into striking distance past a :45.80 half, Zero Hour burst through a seam between rivals nearing the top of the lane and drew off in the stretch to a 6 1/4-length score while jumping back to his left lead in the final sixteenth. Stablemate Subliminal (Street Sense) got up late for the place.
