Standing behind the first crop by their stallion Bernardini (A.P. Indy), Darley went to $350,000 to get hip 169, a son of the Eclipse winner out of GSW Lyphard's Delta (Lyphard). The bay, a May foal, is a 3/4-brother to GISW Indy Five Hundred (A.P. Indy) and MGSW Delta Princess (A.P. Indy). He was consigned by Lane's End, agent. Bidding on behalf on Darley, John Ferguson signed the ticket for Indy Five Hundred when, in foal to Kingmambo, she brought $3 million at FTKNOV in 2007.
