Roy and Gretchen Jackson's Lael Stable went to $850,000 to secure aï¾ daughter of Bernardini early in Wednesday's second session of the OBS March sale. The bay filly is out of multiple Grade I winner Pure Clan (Pure Prize). She was bred by Torrealba Holdings, which purchased Pure Clan with this foal in utero for $4.5 million at the 2012 Keeneland November sale. Bernardini was represented by the $1.4-million topper during Tuesday's opening session of the two-day auction.
