Black Mamba Goes For $1.5M At Fasig

A Grade I winner of nearly $1 million, Black Mamba (NZ) (Black Minnaloushe) proved even more valuable in the sales ring at Fasig-Tipton November Tuesday. Selling as a racing/broodmare prospect, the six-year-old went for $1.5 million to Tony Bott. She was consigned by Taylor Made Sales Agency for owner Doubledown Stables. The bay mare has compiled a record of 20-6-6-4 and earnings of $966,686. The winner of the GI John C. Mabee H. in 2008, she added the GII Beverly Hills H. and, last time out, Keeneland's Dowager S., to her account this term.
