Tipped out four-wide while still well back at the top of the lane, the homebred uncorked a powerful turn of foot to swiftly inhale the field and score a head victory over If You Say So (Arch), who imitated the winner's late move. Sleeting was the seventh debut winner of the meet for trainer Arnaud Delacour.
