Bloomsbury Stud Singspiel Colt Proves Popular at 320,000gns at TATDEC

A Singspiel (Ire) colt from the dispersal of Lady Tavistock's Bloomsbury Stud was the subject of strong interest Friday at Tattersalls, and it was M. V. Magnier who struck the final blow on a bid of 320,000gns. The bay colt descends from Lady Tavistock's foundation mare Mrs Moss, a 2,100gns purchase who produced no fewer than 11 winners at stud, including G1 Japan Cup winner Jupiter Island (GB) (St Paddy {GB}) and SW & GSP Krayyan (GB) (Tower Walk {GB}). Due to her spending a majority of her time in New Zealand and lacking the time to devote to the Stud, Lady Tavistock earlier this year announced her intentions to disperse.
