Trainer Bill Spawr said yesterday that Bordonaro (Memo {Chi}), fourth after setting the pace in the GI Ancient Title S. at Santa Anita Oct. 6, is being pointed for the GI Breedersí Cup Sprint and will wear blinkers for the first time in the race. ìWeíre planning on running,î Spawr said Sunday morning. ìWeíre going to try blinkers because he hasnít showed his usual zip leaving the gate, and we would hope they get him more focused.î Bordonaro, who has never raced in blinkers in 19 lifetime starts, ran fourth to Thorís Echo in last yearís Sprint.
