Breeders' Cup has announced several digital enhancements to the brand's online platforms, including a new, easy-to-navigate mobile app and redesigned website. Developed to provide fans with important information and details on the 2017 Breeders' Cup World Championships in real time, the refurbished platforms allow for a seamless experience for both those on-site and at home.
Available for iOS and Android devices, the Official Breeders' Cup mobile app features real time updates and details on the 2017 event, including information on all 13 championship races, participating horses and official results. Additionally, the user-friendly interface offers ticket information, seating and walking maps, and the official event program. Other notable features include parking and transportation information, directions to Del Mar racetrack, and a seamless Uber integration to help fans plan their trip to and from the track.
The redesigned website offers an enhanced user experience and visual appeal while also providing a more robust supply of quality information.
The new website and mobile app will offer live streams of official Breeders' Cup events, including the Pre-Entry Announcement show Wednesday, Oct. 25, morning workouts starting Thursday, Oct. 26, the Rood & Riddle Post-Position Draw Oct. 30 and the Breeders' Cup Player's Show Friday, Nov. 3 and Saturday, Nov. 4, which will show all 13 championship races live. The app will offer a unique 360° Paddock Cam that will allow users to experience what it's like to be in the Del Mar paddock on Breeders' Cup weekend.
“After significant research and development, we are excited to launch the official Breeders' Cup app and our refreshed website,” said Justin McDonald, VP, Marketing at Breeders' Cup. “We strive to provide our fans with the most seamless and elevated experience possible across all platforms.
