Breeders' Cup Elects Three to Board of Directors

Craig Bernick of Glen Hill Farm, Anthony Manganaro of Siena Farm and Roy Jackson of Lael Stables were elected to the Breeders' Cup Board of Directors, the organization announced Wednesday. Jackson was re-elected to his position. Each Director will serve a four-year term.

The three men will be part of a 14-person Board alongside Barbara Banke of Stonestreet Stables, Antony Beck of Gainesway Farm, owner Bobby Flay, Chairman William S. Farish, Jr. of Lane's End Farm, Breeders' Cup President and CEO Craig Fravel, owner/breeder Fred Hertrich, Airdrie Stud's Bret Jones, Coolmore Stud's Clem Murphy, Dan Pride of Darley, Mike Rogers of The Stronach Group and WinStar Farm's Elliott Walden.

“We welcome our new Directors, Craig Bernick and Anthony Manganaro, to the Breeders' Cup Board and congratulate Roy Jackson on his re-election,” said Bill Farish, Breeders' Cup Chairman. “On behalf of all of us, we also extend great thanks and appreciation to Bill Oppenheim and to Dr. J. David Richardson for their outstanding service and commitment to the Breeders' Cup during their time as Directors.”
