Broken Vow's GISW Cotton Blossom Makes $2.3M At Keeneland

Cottom Blossom (Broken Vow), a Grade I winner for Dogwood Stable after being purchased as a $210,000 FTKJUL yearling, was acquired by Overbrook for $1.9 million at FTKNOV in 2007. She did not get in foal when bred to A.P. Indy in 2008, but went to the court of Street Cry (Ire) this year, and outdid herself in the ring Wednesday. Consigned by Eaton Sales as part of the Overbrook Dispersal, she was bought by Betty Moran's Brushwood Stable for $2.3 million. Now five, Cotton Blossom was four-for-11 on the track, taking the GI Acorn S. and GIII Schuylerville S., running second in the GI Spinaway S. and GII Fantasy S. and third in the GI Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies and GII Delaware Oaks. She earned $724,987.
