Camelot Doing Well, Still Expected to Race at Four

Derrick Smith, Susan Magnier and Michael Tabor's three-time Classic winner Camelot (GB) (Montjeu {Ire}) has been the subject of a further upbeat bulletin since he entered Fethard Veterinary Hospital for colic surgery Thursday, and will be prepared for a 4-year-old campaign if fully recovering from his travails. “Camelot has arrived at Coolmore from Fethard Veterinary Hospital and is in good shape,” revealed a Coolmore Stud tweet. “He is expected to return to training for 2013. A big thank you to the surgeons and the team at the hospital who worked around the clock along with all the staff at Ballydoyle and Coolmore.”
