Can the Man (Into Mischief), a Grade I-placed 2-year-old and Grade III-winning 3-year-old, will shuttle to Spendthrift Australia and participate in the farm's Share The Upside program in 2015. Can the Man will be offered for A$5,500 as part of Share the Upside, and A$3,850 on a standard live foal contract.
“Can the Man was a precocious Grade I performer, and he's the best-looking and best-bred son of our emerging sire Into Mischief,” said B. Wayne Hughes, owner of Spendthrift Australia. “We believe Can the Man will offer Australian breeders a lot of value, especially through our Share The Upside Program. He really is a good-looking horse, and we think Australian breeders are going to like what they see.”
Out of the dual French Group 2 winner and Group 1-placed Smolensk (Danzig), Can the Man hails from the outstanding family of Blush With Pride, responsible for broodmare of the year Better Than Honour (Deputy Minister) and her GI Belmont S.-winning progeny Rags To Riches (A.P. Indy) and Jazil (Seeking The Gold), as well as triple Group 1 and Classic winner Peeping Fawn (Danehill) and Group 1 winner and sire Thewayyouare (Kingmambo).
