Ami's Flatter (Flatter), who was third in Saturday's GI Besilu Stable's Florida Derby, seemed to exit the affair well. Trainer Josie Carroll explained that the connections will decide whether to attempt a run at the GI Kentucky Derby in the coming weeks. “I thought he ran a great race. The speed got away, and he just wasn't able to make up enough ground,” the Woodbine-based conditioner said. “He's going to ship to Toronto [Monday], and we'll have three weeks to decide [about running in the Derby].”
