The window to vote for the 2017 Cartier Racing Awards, with a Cartier watch to be won, closes at 12:00 p.m. local time Tuesday. The 2017 Cartier Racing Awards will be presented during a ceremony at the Dorchester Hotel, London, England on the evening of Tuesday, Nov. 14 before an invited audience of 300. Established in 1991, there are eight Cartier equine awards, with awards weighted to horses that earn the most points in pattern races (30%), combined with opinions of a panel of racing journalists/handicappers (35%) and votes from readers of Racing Post/The Daily Telegraph and ITV Racing viewers (35%). There will also be a Cartier/Daily Telegraph Award of Merit presented to the person or persons who, in the opinion of the special 15-strong Cartier Jury, has/have done the most for European racing and/or breeding either over their lifetime or within the past year.
