Fresh from their success on Saturday with Mossfun in the $A3.5m ﾠG1 Golden Slipper, Hawkes Racing went to $A1,000,000 to secure Lot 42, the Coolmore Stud (as agent) consigned Fastnet Rock (Danehill) filly. With plenty of competition coming from under the famed ﾑfig treeﾒ the impressive bay is the second foal of the G2-winning Stravinsky mare Hips Donﾒt Lie (NZ).
