The most ecstatic of all, though, must have been Ken and Sarah Ramsey after their homebred stallion Kittenís Joy provided them with a trio of Grade I turf winners–plus the runner-up in the American St Leger and the third in the Del Mar Oaks–in the space of a few hours. The son of El Prado now has North American turf earnings of nearly $5.4 million this year, which is more than double the turf total of his nearest rival, Giantís Causeway. Kittenís Joy is also fighting neck-and-neck with Speightstown for the top position on the General Siresí list.
