Caulfield also examines the juvenile's dam side pedigree, which features hearty, durable influences. In the end, he concludes, “with a sprinter as his sire, there probably isn't enough stamina in the bottom half of his pedigree to think that he will be suited for a mile and a quarter, but fortunately his even temperament will give him the best chance of doing so.”
