Pedigree expert Andrew Caulfield takes a closer look at the career of Japanese stallion King Kamehameha (Kingmambo). The champion three-year-old in Japan and runner-up to Montjeu (Ire) in the G1 Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe, King Kamehameha was the leading freshman sire and leading sire of two-year-olds in his country in 2008, and last week saw his progeny–the colt Rose Kingdom (Jpn) and the filly Apapane (Jpn)–crowned the champion Japanese juveniles of 2009.
