This week, Andrew Caulfield discusses the recent success of Lion Heart, sire of Saturday's GIII Bashford Manor S. winner Kantharos. The Grade I winner, who has now produced five graded stakes winners from his first crop, currently ranks in fourth among third crop sires, behind Medaglia d'Oro, Tapit and Speightstown. Caulfield assesses Kantharos's chances of collecting a Grade I and stretching out in distance in the future.
