'TDN Rising Star' Cavorting (Bernardini), scratched from last Saturday's GI Madison S., instead makes her 4-year-old debut in Sunday's GIII Distaff H. at Aqueduct. A dominant winner over Bar of Gold (Medaglia d'Oro) in both the GI Test S. and GII Prioress S. at Saratoga in August and September, respectively, the Stonestreet colorbearer ran on late to be fourth as the favorite in the GI Breeders' Cup F/M Sprint Oct. 31. She was last seen finishing a somewhat disappointing third in Santa Anita's GI La Brea S. Dec. 26. Bar of Gold earned her third-straight runner-up finish in Keeneland's GII Lexus Raven Run S. Oct. 17, but could only manage a sixth-place run in Gulfstream's GII Inside Information S. Mar. 19. Michelle Nevin saddles a pair of contenders in Paulassilverlining (Ghostzapper) and By the Moon (Indian Charlie). The former crushed inner-track optional claimers by 9 1/4 lengths two back Feb. 11, good for a gaudy 106 Beyer Speed Figure. She was second last time to Cavorting's stablemate Clothes Fall Off (Daaher) in the Mar. 19 Correction S. By the Moon, winner of the GI Frizette S. in 2014, missed by a neck in last June's GI Acorn S. and has been off since finishing third behind Cavorting and Bar of Gold in the Test.
