Champagne Room (Broken Vow), preparing for her sophomore debut in next Sunday's GII Las Virgenes S., worked five furlongs in a minute flat (11/47) at Santa Anita Sunday. Trainer Peter Eurton termed the work “awesome.” The Las Virgenes will be Champagne Room's first start since securing the Eclipse Award as champion 2-year-old filly with a win in the GI Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies last November. The race is also expected to feature 'TDN Rising Star' Unique Bella (Tapit), a dominant 7 1/2-length winner of the Jan. 8 GII Santa Ynez S.
