Canadian Horse of the Year Sealy Hill (Point Given) and her newborn Distorted Humor filly lit up the Fasig-Tipton sales ring late in the Kentucky Winter Mixed Sale, establishing a new sale-topping price. The pair were hammered down to Canadian businessman Nat Rea for $590,000. Sealy Hill, who foaled the chestnut on the sales grounds last night, was Canada's Horse of the Year in 2007, and also took home honors as champion 3-year-old filly and champion grass mare on the merits of her sweep of Canada's Triple Tiara. She was sold as part of a select offering from breeder Eugene Melnyk's Winding Oaks Farm.
