Charles Darwin Opens Naas Card

No Nay Never | Coolmore

Observations on the European Racing Scene turns the spotlight on the best European races of the day, highlighting well-bred horses early in their careers, horses of note returning to action and young runners that achieved notable results in the sales ring. Sunday's Observations features the return of a 'TDN Rising Star'.

1.30 Naas, Cond, €40,000, 2yo, 5fT
CHARLES DARWIN (IRE) (No Nay Never) drops back in trip having put in a TDN Rising Star performance when scoring by 5 1/2 lengths over nearly six at Navan last month. The full-brother to Blackbeard is going to be heading to Royal Ascot with plenty of experience under his belt at this rate.

3.45 Newmarket, Novice, £21,000, 2yo, 6fT
TREANMOR (IRE) (Frankel {GB}) is out relatively early for a precious €2 million Goffs Orby Book 1 topper, with Charlie Appleby starting him in the same race he won 12 months ago with the ill-fated G2 Superlative Stakes winner and G1 Dewhurst Stakes third Ancient Truth. Out of Invincible Spirit's Listed scorer and dual Group 3-placed Loch Lein, Godolphin's exciting colt faces five fellow newcomers.
