A weanling colt by champion Cherokee Run from Limited Entry (Carson City) was hammered down to Ferguson Valley for $300,000, the top bid to that point on the afternoon as the fifth day of the Keeneland November Breeding Stock sale pressed on in Lexington Friday. Consigned by Lane's End as agent, the February foal is out of a stakes-placed half-sister to GSP Positive Energy and MSP Betty's Star, the dam of MSW Cherokee Jewel, also by Cherokee Run.
