California Chrome (Lucky Pulpit) and Winx (Aus) (Street Cry {Ire}) share the top mark of 126 for their winnings efforts in the G1 Dubai World Cup and G1 Doncaster H., respectively, to top 2016's second edition of the Longines World's Best Racehorse Rankings.
Another winner on the Dubai World Cup card, Postponed (GB) (Dubawi {Ire}), earned a second-best rating of 124 for his win in the G1 Dubai Sheema Classic. Australia is also represented in the top five by Chautauqua (Aus) (Encosta de Lago {Aus}), who defended his title in the G1 TJ Smith S. on the same card as Winx's Doncaster win at Randwick a week ago. Chautauqua is tied at 121 with Japan's Duramente (Jpn) (King Kamehameha {Jpn}), who finished second to Postponed in the Sheema Classic. The American-based pair of Frosted (Tapit) and Songbird (Medaglia d'Oro) are a joint sixth in the ratings at 120.
