Citronnade Romps in Dahlia

On paper, it looked like her race to lose, and after being left alone to set an easy pace, Citronnade (Lemon Drop Kid) was never in danger of being run down in yesterday's $150,000 GII Dahlia H. at Hollywood Park. The four-year-old notched the wire-to-wire victory by daylight over a running on Black Mamba (NZ) (Black Minnaloushe), who caught longshot Lavender Sky (Mt. Livermore) for place honors. Citronnade capped a big weekend for Bobby Frankel, who won the feature on Saturday's card at Hollywood, the GI Hollywood Starlet, with Country Star.
