LITTLE NAPPY (c, 2, Shackleford–French Laundry, by Seeking the Gold) became the first winner for his freshman sire (by Forestry) with a game success. The New York-bred took some time to get his feet underneath him after an incident-free break and was urged along to be a close third entering the turn. Driven into the lead fully three furlongs from the wire, he opened a clear advantage into the abbreviated stretch run and managed to cling on to score by a nose at odds of 14-1. Skinflint (Super Saver), drawn on the rail for his debut, closed well and nearly got the job done in the final jump. The winner's dam produced a colt by Overanalyze last year and was most recently bred back to Shanghai Bobby. Sales history: $57,000 Ylg '15 KEEJAN; $38,000 RNA Ylg '15 SARAUG; $8,000 Ylg '15 FTKOCT. Lifetime Record: 2-1-0-0, $24,400. Click for the Equibase.com chart or VIDEO, sponsored by Fasig-Tipton.
