Champion Beholder (Henny Hughes) exited her victory in Saturday's GI Vanity Mile “really good,” trainer Richard Mandella reported Sunday. Up next for the 6-year-old mare is expected to be the July 30 GI Clement L. Hirsch S. at Del Mar. Beholder has now won 17 of 22 starts, including 10 Grade I events and her last eight outings. “She's amazing,” Mandella summed up.
