Trainer Christophe Clement sent out a group of workers Sunday morning, all of whom are targeting the Belmont Stakes Racing Festival June 8-10. Leading the fray was Moyglare Stud's GISW Celestine (Scat Daddy), who went five furlongs over the main track in 1:01.18, with internal splits of :36 1/5 and :48 2/5.

“I thought she looked very good [Sunday] morning,” confirmed Clement. “I was pleased with the work.”

Winner of the Apr. 1 GII Honey Fox S. in her latest start, Celestine is expected to make her next appearance in the GI Longines Just a Game June 10. Jockey Jose ortiz, aboard for her last two starts, will reunite with the five-year-old mare for the one-mile event.

Also breezing five furlongs, Pure Sensation (Zensational)– winner of three stakes last season, including Belmont's GIII Jaipur S.– covered the distance in 1:01.93, while MSW Disco Partner (Disco Rico) completed four panels in :50.44. Both moves were recorded on the main track.

“Pure Sensation looked good [Sunday] morning,” said Clement. “The plan is to go to the Jaipur with Jose Ortiz.”

As for his stablemate, Clement added, “Disco Partner is on target for theĀ [Jaipur] as well with Irad Ortiz Jr.”

In related news, Green Lantern Stables' Frostmourne (Speightstown), winner of Belmont's Awad S. last October, worked a half mile in :49.09 on Belmont's inner turf Sunday. Second last time out in the Woodhaven S. Apr. 22, the dark bay is expected to make his next start inĀ Belmont's GIII Pennine Ridge S. June 3.
