Mile High Racing & Entertainment, which operates Arapahoe Park, has received approval from the Colorado Racing Commission to offer fantasy sports contests at nine Colorado locations, applying the pari-mutuel format of horse racing betting to other professional sports. Las Vegas-based USFantasy Sports is providing the content, which will pair daily fantasy sports contests with traditional horse racing odds and terminology.
“Ultimately we hope this will educate more of Colorado's devoted sports fans about the foundations of horse race wagering and attract them to come to our racetrack and off-track betting locations,” Mile High Racing & Entertainment executive director Bruce Seymore said.
