WinStar Farm and Twin Creeks Racingís GI Donn H. winner Constitution (Tapit) will miss the Mar. 28 G1 Dubai World Cup. ìAfter breezing him on Saturday, we detected some heat and slight soreness in his left shin on Sunday morning,î trainer Todd Pletcher said of Constitution. ìWith the Breedersí Cup as our main goal, we decided to take the conservative approach for now and not ship him to Dubai.î WinStar President and CEO Elliott Walden added, ìConstitution is a tremendous stallion prospect, and we want to be very careful with him. It doesnít make sense to push him and send him overseas now.î In addition to the Feb. 7 Donn, Constitution also won last yearís GI Besilu Florida Derby and was third in the GI Clark H. To date, he has won four of six starts with earnings of $1,004,096.
