Having bought into Australian juvenile Aylmerton (Aus) (Siyouni {Fr}) last week the Coolmore team have invested in another son of the Aga Khan stallion in Le Brivido (Fr). The Andre Fabre trained 4-year-old carried the silks of Prince Faisal Bin Khaled to victory twice last year, most notably when winning the G3 Jersey S. at Royal Ascot, having been just touched off by Brametot (Ire) (Rajsaman {Fr}) in the G1 Abu Dhabi Poule d'Essai des Poulains on his previous start. According to the France Galop website Prince Faisal retains 50% ownership of Le Brivido with the other half split between Susan Magnier, Mayfair Speculators, Michael Tabor and Derrick Smith. Le Brivido was purchased by Ted Voute for €105,000 from Longways Stables at Arqana's Breeze Up Sale in May 2016 and was unraced after his win at Royal Ascot last year. He does however hold an entry in the G3 Prix Edmond Blanc at Saint Cloud on April 2.
