Dandino (GB) (Dansili {GB}–Generous Diana {GB}, by Generous {Ire}), a stakes winner in three countries and Grade/Group 1-placed in Australia and Canada, will stand at Bombora Downs in Victoria, Australia this year for a fee of A$5,000, according to Racing and Sports. Dandino began his racing career in the UK as a homebred for Elite Racing Club and won Newmarket's G2 Jockey Club S. in 2011 for trainer James Given. He recorded another domestic group victory the following year when winning the G3 September S., after which he finished second in the GI Canadian International. He won the 2013 American St. Leger for Australian Thoroughbred Bloodstock after finishing second in the Jockey Club S. and Royal Ascot's G2 Hardwicke S., and later that season traveled to Australia for the first time to finish second in the G1 Caulfield Cup. Dandino went winless for much of 2014 and 2015 but capped his career with a win in Flemington's G3 Queen's Cup last November for trainer Darren Weir.
