Dansili Colt Looks Like a Million at Tatts

Self-made businessman Sir Robert Ogden had to dig deep, but he proved equal to the task midway during yesteday's session of the Craven sale, going to 490,000gns for a colt by the impeccably bred Dansili (GB)–Red Bravo (Red Ransom). Consigned by Oak Tree Farm, the same operation responsible for the 440,000gns colt by Invincible Spirit (Ire), the French-bred bay was produced by a half-sister to GSWs Steppe Dancer (Ire) (Fasliyev) and St Mawes (Fr) (Shahrastani). Margaret O'Toole gave 140,000 euros for the colt at last year's Deauville August Sale.
