Medaglia d'Oro (El Prado {Ire}–Cappucino Bay, by Bailjumper), sire of GI Preakness S. and GI Haskell Invitational winner Rachel Alexandra, is scheduled to breed mares on southern hemisphere time at Darley's Jonabell Farm, beginning Sept. 1. “Medaglia d'Oro is shaping up as one of the world's most exciting stallions,” said Olly Tait, Chief Operating Officer of Darley America. “The feats of Rachel Alexandra have been amazing and his progeny are displaying talent on all racing surfaces.” Grade I winner Medaglia d'Oro is the sire of 10 total black-type winners and is currently the leading sire by North American earnings.
