Christophe Clement unveils the regally-bred BERLINER (Bernardini) in this spot for owner/breeder Stronach Stables. The dark bay was produced by an unraced half-sister to champion Macho Uno (Holy Bull) and MGISW multimillionaire Awesome Again (Deputy Minister). He enters this test off a best-of-48 half-mile breeze at Payson Park in :48 3/5 Dec. 24 and comes from a barn known for its success with grass runners. Juddmonte Farms will be represented by yet another blue-blooded homebred here in the form of Kapellmeister (Tapit). Conditioned by Hall of Famer Bill Mott, the gray is out of a half-sister too MGISWs Sightseek (Distant View) and Tates Creek (Rahy); and this is also the family of European champion Special Duty (GB) (Hennessy).
