Looking to become the second back-to-back winner of the GI Breeders' Cup Classic, Zenyatta (Street Cry {Ire}) heads the 16 horses pre-entered for the $5 million event. There were 14 horses selected for the body of the 10-panel race, with Morning Line (Tiznow) and Pleasant Prince (Indy King) not selected. Those two are expected to get into the field, however, as the connections of both Crown of Thorns (Repent) and Dakota Phone (Zavata) have listed the GI Breeders' Cup Dirt Mile as first preference.
