Delta Downs closed out its 2016-17 Thoroughbred season Saturday night and the track honored its leading horsemen for the meet during the 10-race program. Jockey Diego Saenz won his third leading rider title at Delta by a wide margin with 103 wins, while Karl Broberg notched his sixth consecutive training crown with 69 trips to the winner's circle. End Zone Athletics, a regular client of Broberg's, took home the title for leading owner of the meet with 37 victories.
