“TDN Rising Star” Delta Prince (Street Cry {Ire}) looks to remain undefeated on grass as he steps up in graded stakes company in Saturday's GIII Appleton S. at Gulfstream. On the board in his first two tries on the dirt in New York last fall, the royally-bred dark bay broke through with a decisive four-length victory over this course and distance Dec. 26. The Stronach Stables runner made it two in a row with another track-and-trip success in a first-level allowance Feb. 18. Click here for an “In Sharper Focus” on Delta Prince.

Gabe Grossberg's Siding Spring (Warrior's Reward) also enters this test off consecutive victories over the local lawn for trainer Mark Casse. The bay cleared his first-level allowance condition going 7 1/2 furlongs in Hallandale Jan. 22 and scored again over that distance Feb. 18.

The more seasoned Wertheimer and Frere homebred All Included (Include) should give his younger rivals a run for their money. The Todd Pletcher pupil has hit the board in multiple graded events, most recently finishing third in the nine-furlong GI Gulfstream Park Turf H. Feb. 11.
