Dialed In To Make Two-Turn Bow In Gulfstream Allowance Sunday

Three-year-old Dialed In (Mineshaft), winner of the Jan. 30 GIII Holy Bull S. going a mile at Gulfstream Park, will try two turns for the first time in an allowance test at the Hallandale Beach oval Sunday. The race has been carded as the fourth on the program. The Robert LaPenta runner will face four rivals, including three older horses, in the nine-furlong affair. “This was the La Penta family's first wish and first priority and mine, too,” trainer Nick Zito told Daily Racing Form. “Gulfstream got this race to go and that's what we wanted to do. We didn't want to run anywhere else. Hopefully, this will set him up for the [Apr. 3 GI] Florida Derby. For me, it's a relief to know we've got this race for him and now we'll just move right along from here.”
