Theresa Marnane's Different League (Fr) (Dabirsim {Fr}), who lowered the colours of 'TDN Rising Star' Alpha Centauri (Ire) (Mastercraftsman {Ire}) in Royal Ascot's G3 Albany S. on June 23, will be set for the G1 Prix Morny at Deauville on Aug. 20.
Trainer Matthieu Palussiere said that while there have been offers coming in for the juvenile, she has not changed ownership.
“There's been no change in her circumstances,” said Palussiere. “She's been very good since Ascot and now we are looking forward to the Prix Morny with her. We were all excited at Ascot and she confirmed there what we have thought all along: she's very good. She looks very good, she's some filly all right.”
Different League, an €8,000 foal at Arqana December who was led out unsold at £14,000 at Doncaster's Premier Yearling Sale last year, won her first two starts in the French provinces on May 11 and 23 before upsetting the Albany at 20-1.
